"Liam Gallagher is one of the last people we'd want to work with. We were formed in reaction to bands like Oasis. I remember thinking that they were so removed from what I wanted to do. Oasis are an influence to us in that they made us aware of what we did not want to do. They keep putting out okay albums because they think they have the answer. But it's not only in the Beatles or the Sex Pistols. There are other bands that make exciting music."
